The incumbent play an active role in desk/secondaryresearch, surveys/field research and feasibility studies. Conduct tradechecks on exhibits and events, attends conferences to get vital informationand updates on the latest industry trends and gather new ideas to helpachieve new business plans.Broad functions:1. To do market research on target products/services2. To prepare market assessments and business plans3. To coordinate and work closely with potential suppliers, principals andbusiness partners.Duties & responsibilities:1. Market Research a. Responsible in determining what research techniques will be used, howbroadly the research will be conducted and estimates how much the researchwill cost.b. Leads and coordinates all aspects of research project management-research methodology, primary and secondary research, data collection,fieldwork, analysis and interpretation and presentation.c. Monitor new business implementation and product sales status afterturnover to sales group2. Business Plana. gather latest updates and business trends on current and new marketsb. Attend business forum and conferences, trade exhibits and businessmeetingsc. Conduct marketing studies (includes qualitative and quantitativeanalysis) and submits suggestions and recommendations on new businesses.3. Coordination with Principalsa. Communicates with suppliers, principals and business partnersb. Prepares contracts or memorandum of agreement with business partnersQualifications:Graduate in Marketing, Business Administration or Communication courseAt least 2-3 years experience in Market ResearchTechnical Competencies:Market ResearchBusiness PlanCorporate Communications
